Everyone I know is having a baby, whether they have the room for one, or not! I have always wondering how on earth people handle having a baby and not having a second bedroom. Or maybe they have a second bedroom, but it's used as an office, so there isn't really a good space for a nursery. Bloom has come up with a perfect solution, as far as a crib is concerned in these situations. Below is a picture of their crib called Alma. It folds up for easy storage!

It is always a good idea to be prepared for all kinds of messes when travelling because that is when the really weird ones occur! I've always thought about buying a travel case of baby wipes just to store in the car, but we probably would not go through the entire pack before they would dry out. Thus, I've never bothered to buy them. And boy do I pay for that later! Our backseat is a mess. Napkins usually just don't cut it, and hand sanitizer stinks and tastes awful!

I think I have already made it clear that I love bamboo! I have already written about it in a past blog post with Bamboobino clothing. Well, here I am again, writing about my passion only this time it has been made into furniture! Ekobo is a company based in France that utilizes artisan communities in Vietnam to create beautiful décor pieces made of Bamboo.

Walking through an office, you might see children’s art work here and there, but you’ll almost certainly see it on a refrigerator at someone’s home. Parents are proud of their little ones and long to bring these masterpieces with them. So they hang them up at work, but it makes an office look a little less professional so others are cautious about doing this. And how do you bring artwork with you if your “office” is a truck? Or a construction site? Not everyone works in an office where it is even possible to hang the art work!

I know there are dads out there who cringe at the thought of having to carry a diaper bag when it's covered in cutesy baby images or worse (in their mind), floral or paisley print of some sort! Petunia Pickle Bottom has come out with a line just for hip Dads! They call it their Scout line, from which there are three designs to choose from each available in a few neutral colours.

In case you’re a little behind like I usually am, Fathers Day is less than two weeks from today, June 21^st. Just so you know and you can get moving on that! In our search for great father’s day gift ideas we came across these really cute tops to dress you baby or toddler in for Father’s Day. Urban Smalls began in 2004 to create a line of clothing for babies that was outside of the confines of “cutesy” and came up with some witty shirts!

How many of you Americans out there have always thought we were missing an important design in our collection? I may be Canadian, but I married an American so I’m always thinking about the two countries. As soon as I saw the Maple Leaf Bib, I made sure Nicole knew that a bib to portray the American nationalism was very necessary! My in-laws would be so proud! If there is one thing I know about Americans, it’s that they love to celebrate their national holiday all year round.

I am in that stage in life where everyone around me is having babies! So you can imagine there are many nurseries being decorated and I hear so much frustration in this area specifically. Most of my friends are looking for more classy and modern décor than is often available these days. Here, friends of mine, take a look at what I found!

Thinking back to my own childhood, I can remember playing with the huge cardboard box that our new refridgerator came in. My brother and I made forts out of it, and then we ended up taking it to our cabin where we had no carpet yet, and it became my carpet in my room. My friends and I coloured all over it and wrote all of our inside jokes to remember for years to come!

My husband and I both love Bamboo. We love to decorate our home in bamboo so much that our walls are the colour of green bamboo, we have bamboo trays, pictures, and accessories wherever possible along with our live bamboo. We are even looking into getting bamboo floors. But I always thought that our love for bamboo ended at décor. For this past Christmas, I even got a bamboo hoody! Bamboo cloths? Do I dare? Turns out, it’s super soft, thin, yet warm! I love it and definitely want more!
